How to find your own drawing style
You collect twenty images you love and look for what they share. You turn that into three words. Then you draw the same cat five times, differently each time, and choose. You don’t copy. You look.
A collection that belongs together
In module 4 you draw motifs that form a set. Same line, same palette. That shows you straight away whether your style rules work. If they don’t, you change them. That’s what they’re for.
What you end up with
A one-page style guide. Your line, your shapes, your palette and your texture, plus two things you don’t do. Hang it where you can see it. It works better than you’d think.
