We handle your data with care and collect no more than we need. Here you can read what we process and why.

Who is responsible?

What data and why

• When you buy: name, email address, country, order details and payment details. Needed to perform the contract: processing your payment, sending your access and answering questions.
• When you sign up for the newsletter: your email address. Based on your consent, to email you about new courses and files. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every email.
• For a withdrawal or question: the details you fill in. Needed to handle your request.
• For our records: invoice and payment details. We are legally required to keep these.
• When you visit the site: technical data such as your IP address, processed by the hosting provider to display and secure the site.

Who we share data with

• Lemon Squeezy and the payment partners they use, for checkout.
• MailerLite, which sends our newsletter.
• Netlify, which hosts the website and processes forms for us.

Some of these parties process data outside the EU. They do so on the basis of the safeguards provided for in privacy law. We never sell your data.

How long we keep data

We keep purchase data for 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires. Questions and withdrawal requests are kept for up to 2 years after they are handled. We keep your newsletter email address until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may access, correct or delete your data, object, or have your data transferred, as far as the law allows. Email contact@ohlookabird.com. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the supervisory authority in your country.
