Terms and conditions
These terms apply to every purchase of a digital product from Oh, look a bird!, such as an online course, course bundle, recipe, template or downloadable file. You can save or print them using your browser's share button or print menu.
1. Who we are
Oh, look a bird! is a brand of Hyperfocus Lab. Hyperfocus Lab is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 99234491. All details are on the page Company details.
2. The offer
The website describes what each course contains. You are buying access to online learning material: lesson pages and, where stated, worksheets to download. Each product lists the devices, software or materials you need, such as an iPad with Procreate, a 3D printer or an xTool machine. These are not included.
3. Price and payment
All prices are in euros and include VAT. There are no additional costs. You pay in advance through Lemon Squeezy, using the payment methods shown at checkout. Lemon Squeezy acts as reseller (merchant of record): it formally sells the product to you, handles payment and VAT, and sends your invoice. Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms therefore also apply at checkout. The content and delivery of the product remain our responsibility; you can always contact us with questions.
4. Delivery and access
After payment you'll receive the link to your course or courses by email. Access is personal. You open a course with the licence key from your confirmation email. One key can be used on up to 2 devices or browsers. We keep the courses online for as long as we offer them. If we stop offering a course, we'll let you know at least 30 days in advance so you can save the worksheets.
5. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you generally have a 14-day cooling-off period after purchase. Because you receive digital content immediately after payment, this right lapses if, at checkout, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. If you do not give that consent, you can withdraw within 14 days. How this works is explained on the page Withdrawal.
6. Use of the learning material
All lessons, texts, images, demos and worksheets are protected by copyright. You may use them to learn yourself. You may not share, resell, publish or imitate the course links or files in a course of your own. What you make with what you learn, such as your own patterns and brushes, is yours.
7. Liability
We do our best to keep the learning material accurate and up to date. Software, platforms and rules change; always check the current instructions and requirements for your own use. This limitation does not apply where the law imposes liability, such as in cases of intent or gross negligence.
8. Complaints
Have a complaint? Email contact@ohlookabird.com. We reply within 14 days. If we can't resolve it together, you can turn to the competent court.
9. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection that the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
